April 23 - 25: SPRING CLEAN-UP WEEKEND
Bring a rake and your tools, help clean up on Saturday and receive a camping certificate good towards your next stay. Bring your own pot of chili, we'll combine it with others for a fantastic dinner at 5:00 p.m. The Good Sam Club has fundraisers to benefit Special Olympics through Sat night. These include a Sta. moring pancake or french toast breakfast, a Bake Sale, and Brown Bag Auction. Advance reservation required. (Price based on two adults and children under 18.)

April 30 - May 1: FISHING OPENER & MONTELLO MOOSE FEST
Statewide fishing opening of season. Combine that with being the closest campground to the first Great American Moose Festival. It will surely be a fun filled weekend.

May 7 - 9: MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND
Bring Mom and the kids for a relaxing weekend just for Mom. Kids can make a special gift for Mom on Saturday. The staff makes breakfast on Sunday morning so you doesn't have to as well.*

May 14 - 16: ARMED FORCES WEEKEND
Free camping for all Soldiers and Veterans, including their spouse and children under 18. A little appreciation for America's Finest from us at BLCR.

May 28 - 31: MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
3 night minimum - Prepayment required within 7 days of reservation. Enjoy a city wide rummage sale, planned activities, and crafts Saturday and Sunday.

June 11 - 13: SCHOOL'S OUT WEEKEND
Schools out for summer and it is time for the fun to begin. Join us for a kickoff to the start of the summer break.

June 18 - 20: FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND
We had a day for Mom so naturally Dad gets one too. Make a special gift for Dad on Saturday, and enjoy breakfast on Sunday morning made by the BLCR staff.*

July 2 - 5: 4TH OF JULY
3 night minimum - Prepayment required within 7 days of reservation. Horseshoe Tournament in campground. Fireworks at Montello City Park also.

July 9 - 11: Craft and Rummage Sale
Show off your artistic talents at the third campground craft sale Saturday, July 12th, from 8am - 3pm. Set up on your site on Saturday morning or browse the grounds for that special something you can't live without. Sign up in the store in advance to be included on the list of participating sites.

July 23 - 25: "CHRISTMAS IN JULY"
Decorate your camper and site. Prizes for the best decorated. Kids can do a special Christmas Craft and visit Santa on Saturday night.

August 6 - 8: Hawaiian Luau
Join us on Saturday for our annual Pig Roast & Corn Boil.

August 12 - 14: Midwest Vintage Trailer Rally
3 night minimum - Show off your vintage camper or stay to tour vintage campers at Saturday's open house. Participation in rally events requires additional fee.

September 3 - 6: LABOR DAY WEEKEND
3 night minimum - Prepayment required within 7 days of reservation.

A ghoulishly good time. A Haunted House and trick or treating from trailer to trailer gets the whole family a little closer together.
