April 12 - 14: OPENING WEEKEND
Join us to "Kick off" our 20th year.
April 19 - 21: SPRING PROJECT AND CHILI DUMP WEEKEND Lend a hand in completing any early season project and receive a thank you certificate for your next stay. Annual chili dump on Saturday evening.
May 3 - 5: MONTELLO FISH-n-FUN Stay with us to be close to all the festivities happening in and around Montello. It is sure to be a family fun filled weekend. At the campground, we will also be having a Cinco de Mayo party.
May 10 - 12: MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND Bring Mom and the kids for a relaxing weekend just for Mom. Kids can make a special gift for Mom on Saturday. The staff makes breakfast on Sunday morning so you don't have to as well and Moms eat FREE.*
May 17 - 19: ARMED FORCES / HERO'S WEEKEND Free Friday and Saturday night camping for all Soldiers and Veterans, as well as EMT's, Firefighters and Police Officers. A little Thank You for America's Finest from us at BLCR. Reservations must be made. Please call 608-297-2915.

May 24 - 27: MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND (20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION) 3 night minimum - Prepayment required within 7 days of reservation. Enjoy a city wide rummage sale, planned activities, and crafts both Saturday and Sunday.

June 7 - 9: SCHOOL'S OUT WEEKEND School is finally out for summer and it is time for the fun to begin. Join us for a kickoff to the start of the summer break.
June 14 - 16: FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND We had a day for Mom so naturally Dad gets one too. Make a special gift for Dad on Saturday, and enjoy breakfast on Sunday morning made by the BLCR staff. Dads eat FREE!*
June 21 - 23: CELEBRATE DAIRY MONTH Join us as we celebrate Wisconsin's heritage in Dairy Month.
June 28 - 30: OLDIES WEEKEND It's going to be a blast from the past as we look back to the days of yester-year.
July 3 - 7: 4TH OF JULY 3 night minimum - Prepayment required within 7 days of reservation. Join us for all the fun including a campground Horseshoe Tournament and Kids Ice Cream Eating Contest. Fireworks nearby at the Montello City Park also.
July 13: ANNUAL CRAFT and RUMMAGE SALE
Show off your artistic talents or bring your unwanted treasures to sell at the annual campground craft and rummage sale on Saturday, July 14th. Set up on your site on Saturday morning or browse the grounds for that special something you can't live without. Sign up in the store in advance to be included on the list of participating sites.
July 19 - 21: "CHRISTMAS IN JULY" Decorate your camper and site. Prizes for the best decorated. Kids can create a special Christmas Craft and visit Santa on Saturday night.
July 26 - 28: EVENT TBD
August 2 - 4: WESTERN WEEKEND
Giddie-up campers. It's time to put on your chaps and saddle up for some old-fashioned country western fun.
August 9 - 11: TROPICAL SPLASH WEEKEND
August 16 - 18: STARS AND S'MORES WEEKEND
We'll be having a S'more cookout prior to viewing and discovering our solar system with our staff.
August 30 - September 2: LABOR DAY WEEKEND 3 night minimum - Prepayment required within 7 days of reservation. Special activities planned for both Saturday and Sunday.
Kids Crafts every Saturday ends.
September 6 - 8: CAMPER APPRECIATION WEEKEND
It will have been a great year and time for us to show our appreciation for your time spent with us over the year. We look forward to reminiscing in the memories of the year with you.
September 12 - 14: Midwest Vintage Trailer Rally Those participating in the rally require a 3 night minimum - Show off your vintage camper or stay to tour vintage campers at Saturday's open house. Viewing campers is free though participation in rally events requires an additional fee.
September 27 - 29: CAMPGROUND HALLOWEEN I A ghoulishly good time. A Haunted House, trick or treating from site to site, campground wide decoration contest are just some of the spooky fun activities planned.
October 4 - October 6: CAMPGROUND HALLOWEEN II It's too good to put into one weekend! So we’ll do it all over again for the guests who survived or couldn’t attend the first one.
